The Camillo Scholars Resource Management Software is a collaborative project between the Computer Engineering Research Labs at Auckland University of Technology and the Microcosms Project at UCSB. The software we are designing is based upon a sixteenth-century Memory Theater, designed by Giulio Camillo for the king of France. Our goal is to create a new digital research and collaborative environment that allows efficient sharing of data objects together with their contexts of usage and user associations. We will be presenting a first, web-based prototype of the Camillo software.
