"The Textures of Infrastructure"

This talk examines the varying topologies of infrastructures, including long-line infrastructure, infrastructures for sequestration, and webbed infrastructure. The different functionalities and social roles each shape carries are examined. Examples are drawn from both low tech and high tech areas. The talk builds on the author's previous work on classification and large-scale infrastructures.
